Why some of us are so chatty?

I feel happy (just had treats) and I'm ready to meow the day away!
Who's ready to sing along with me? In this house I am the chattiest one. I talk and talk specially when it's around time to eat (almost the whole day). And as you all know I rule the house.
Some of us tend to vocalize more than others. Are you asking yourself "why does my cat meow so much"? Well here is the answer.
Cats don't really need to vocalize when it comes to communicate with their siblings and cat neighbors. But with humans they need to draw their attentions. They relate to humans to get their needs met.
Some cats are genuinely social and they probably enjoy talking with their non furry friends for companionships.
I have learned that if I meow long enough , Ma will finally feed me, or play with me. She doesn't mind at all, she finds it funny.
How do you communicate with your cat?
